SERVE others in the name of Christ.
"You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather serve one another in love." - Galatians 5:13
God’s Word tells us that the Holy Spirit gives each believer at least one special ability that he or she can use in serving others (see Romans 12:4–8; 1 Corinthians 12:7–11; Ephesians 4:11–13). These spiritual gifts include service, mercy, teaching, giving, evangelism, healing, intercession through prayer, leadership, and many others. God knows us so well he knows what gift is right for each one of us. And he has designed the church to include people who are able to fulfill every need of the body. For God’s perfect design to work, we must know what our gifts are and we must be willing to use them to serve God and others. In this way we honor and glorify God.
Our church offers a course several times a year that will help you discover what your spiritual gifts are and how to use them in our church and community. Part of the discovery process is taking a gifts inventory through which you can identify the gifts God has given you.
